Scorpion

Today after school all of us cheerleaders are in the commons area stretching getting ready to dance. Then when everyone was done with stretching and running we all go through all of the other stuff like splits, kicks, jumps and more stretches. We have all different kinds of stretches but my favorite one is the Scorpion. So I do the Scorpion because it stretches my back.
First I get my balance on the white cement floor. Then I bring my right foot up to my right hand. I pull my leg up slowly. As I pull my leg up I begin to feel all of my muscles in my leg stretch. Then I take my left hand and get a grip on my foot. After I have good grip on my foot I rotate my right hand while my left hand holding it then I grab underneath my foot on the arch. After I do that I begin to rotate my body to the opposite side of my foot. When I rotate I notice every one of the cheerleaders watching as I bring my foot up closer and closer to my head. Then I start to pull up even more, while I pull up my foot I can feel my hip bone and my rib cage bone touch each other. I pull it up and my foot touches my head and I stand there and let it stretch. My head is put back to my foot so I can see nothing but the ceiling until I look at the crowd of girls and I hear one say, “Makalie, it looks like your back will break!” I can feel it burning, so then I release it slowly starting by letting go of my foot with one of my hands and I can already feel my muscles relaxing everywhere in my hands, back, feet, and legs. Then I let go of my leg and lower it to the ground. I feel all my muscles relaxed. After I am done my body feels all better and stretched.

Stuck in Neutral

Crackle-crackle-crackle. I escaped from my body, I watched my dad. He looked at me in some kind of sadness. He was really sad for me. I just wish he knew. I wish he knew that I was okay. I went up to him and said, “Dad, I am okay. I love you. I don’t want to die.” Then I got pulled back into my body again. I wish I could have told him. I wish I could have told him I really am smart and that I am happy. Then my eyes started wandering off somewhere else. I saw a shadow in the hall way. It was moving closer and closer. While I was looking down the hallway, I started feeling pressure and everything went dark. I could not breathe. Then after ten seconds I could see and I could breath. My eyes were focusing on the ground. I could see two pairs of feet. I could hear yelling, I could hear my mom. She asked my dad, “How could you do this to him? Why he would you ever think of doing something like that? Then she picked up the phone and called the police.
About two weeks later, my dad ended up in prison for attempted murder. When he got handcuffed, he looked up at me in the eyes and said, “I love you to son.”

The Diary

It all started when I was walking down the street. I saw a yard sale and had to stop, but then I had this odd feeling that I shouldn’t because these people looked really odd, but you can’t judge people, so I just decided to stop. I started looking threw boxes and boxes of different things. I found scarves, books, jewelry, and movies, but none of these things looked really interesting. Then I found a really cute journal. It was pink with super cute green polka dots. It had a big flower that was white on it! I wanted it so much. I just had to buy it, so I walked up to the lady. The lady was so nice. She told me about how this journal use to be hers. She said she was getting to old for it so she gave it to me.  She said she had it ever since she was a little girl so she had to redesign it.
After I left I was walking down the street and realized I didn’t catch that ladies name. Then I realized how odd that lady was. How she said she was too old for writing in a journal. Who is too old to write in a journal?  Well anyways right when I got home I went and showed my mom my new journal. I was so excited for it. The next day I came straight home and wrote in my dairy since the day before I had no time. This is what I wrote, “Dear Diary, Today was so much fun, except for one little thing. There is this girl at my school. She always has to be better than me. If I have something, well then she has to have something better. She will lie to my face and say what she has better than me. I just wish she could leave or get into some kind of trouble, so she could leave. Ugh! She is just a huge brat.” After I got done writing in my journal I went and made dinner for my family, see I have to make dinner for my family every night because my mom works tell really late at night and my dad died a couple years ago.
Well the next day I went to school I was having a great day, until that one girl came walking up to me, Angelica. Here she comes to tell me what she has better than me or what I don’t have that she does.  When Angelica came up to me she said, “Guess what?” I was not too thrilled to hear what she had to say. “What?” I said. “I got that new IPod touch. You know the one like yours but newer.” She said. Then I said, “Well good for you. What was so bad about your other IPod?” She said, “Oh yeah, well I was just getting so tired of it. I had it for so long.” Then I said, “Yeah a whole 3 months is forever long for an IPod.” Then she just acted like she never heard me say that.  Then she said the oddest thing, “You know I had the weirdest dream last night. We were standing there and you just started calling me a brat out of nowhere, then I got blamed for something I never did. Then I got kicked out of school for a week. It was so strange.” Then I was thinking about it and how that sounded so familiar. Then I said, “Yeah that is strange.”  When I got home I went into my room and started doing my homework. I saw my journal and started writing in it. This is what I started writing, “Today was pretty great, except for Angelica. She still rubbed everything in my face. Today she told me about how she got a new IPod. I think the funny thing about all this is she pretends how much we are best friends. Then when we are around everyone she pretends like I am nobody. She never acknowledges me, and rubs ever thing in my face! Oh I wish, oh how I WISH, she would just leave me alone.” Then I stopped writing. I started thinking about why I am wasting my time writing about her. How she is just so mean to me? Then I tried thinking of something else to think about.
So the next day at school I walked into class and sat down. Then walked in was Angelica. Here she comes to brag to me about something new she just got. Then she just walked right past me. I had to double take. What? She walked past me. What is going on?  After class I walked up to Angelica and said, “How come you didn’t sit by me today? What’s wrong?” Then she said, “You told me to just leave you alone.” I said, “What?” “Yesterday, I was telling you about my dream then you said, leave me alone.” She said. I had no idea what was going on. I was so confused. So then I went to my next class and sat down. The bell rang and my teacher, (Ms. Jenny) said, “Please take out you math assignment.” So I reached into my bag searching everywhere, looking in every folder. I couldn’t find it. I know I did it, I just know I did. So I just looked back up and sat there. Then Ms. Jenny turned to me and said, “Where is your homework?” I said, “I don’t know.” “What do you mean you don’t know? How can your homework just suddenly disappear?” She asked. “I did it but I can’t find it anywhere. I am sorry.” She said, “Well I told everyone that this is our last paper until term, and you must get it in or else I will fail you.” Then I looked at her and said, “I am so sorry. I must have lost it. Can’t I just hand it in tomorrow morning?” She said, “I will not accept any late work.” Then she walked away. Well there goes my grade and going out with my friends tonight.  I am so mad at her.
When I got home my mom checked my grades, just like she does every Friday. Then she said, “Why do you have an F in math?” I said, “Because she failed me because I didn’t hand in my paper today, and it was one of our main papers. I am so sorry mom.” My mom just looked at me and said, “I suggest you go into your room and do extra credit or you will never get to go out with your friends tonight.” I just turned around and moaned. The first thing I did when I got to my room was write in my journal. Not do extra credit; you think I would after what my teacher did to me today. This is what I wrote, “Today was one of the worst days of this week! Angelica totally ignored me. She told me that I told her to leave me alone. Then after that I went to math, and Ms. Jenny told us to get out our papers and mine was gone and she won’t let me hand in late work! Now I am failing math! I have to stay home and do extra credit instead of going out with my friends on a FRIDAY NIGHT TOO! Ugh I am so angry at my teacher right now!  She is such a jerk!  I wish she could get fired. I just want to go throw eggs at her house and toilet paper her trees then spray them with water so it sticks! She makes me so mad!” Then the rest of the night I worked on extra credit and never got to go out with my friends.
On Monday I walked into my math class. Ms. Jenny was sitting at her desk. I walked up to her and she had the angriest look on her face. I said, “Hi Ms. Jenny. Umm here is my extra credit. I did it over the weekend.” She looked at me and said, “Thank you.” Well that was a relief. I am glad that is all she said. Then she said, “How come you think I am a jerk?” I turned around and I was speechless. “What?” I said. She said, “I think it is time to go to class now.” So I just turned around and walked out the door. Then I heard the bell ring and right when it rang I heard, “Molly Essay please come to the office.” Then I was thinking in my head, “What did I do now?”  As I was walking into the office there were police and the principal were standing in the doorway. They were staring me down, so I walked to the window. I said, “Ms. Jan did you need me for something?” She said, “Oh yes, actually the principal would like to see you in his office.” I just nodded and walked away. As I was walking to the doorway I could just feel my heart pounding. I don’t know what I did but there are police. Then I said, “Mr. Gerbert did you need me for something?” Then he said, “Yes actually I did. Why don’t you take a seat right here?” So I sat down. Then the police man started talking, “You told Ms. Jenny that you wanted her to get fired. That you were going to egg her house and toilet paper it.” He said. Then I said, “Wait I am confused, I have no idea what you are talking about.” “Yes you do. You should know exactly what I am talking about. You told Ms. Jenny you were going to do that to her house and now you did.” He said. “No I didn’t. I was at home doing extra credit for her dumb class.” Mr. Gerbert just said, “Ok we will finish this later please go home.” So I left.
When I got home I was pacing the floors. This can’t be happening. I never said anything like that. I have no idea what they are talking about. So I sat down on my couch and started thinking. What am I going to do? What did I ever say? Then I thought about it. I wrote something like that down in my journal. I went and read it. Oh my goodness everything I write down is coming true. What am I suppose to do? Well now I need to figure out a way to destroy this book. It is ruining my life. Well let me think about it. So I sat down trying to think of a way. Wait, everything I write down comes true. So I went straight to my journal and wrote down, “Today Ms. Jenny was so nice! She told me how great of a student I was and gave me an A. She is absolutely my favorite teacher. I was in no trouble at all. The principal gave me a high five in the hallway. Today was a great day.” Then I went and erased what I had said about Ms. Jenny before.
The next day at school I walked into Ms. Jenny’s class and she was sitting at her desk. I walked up to her and said, “Ms. Jenny is anything wrong?” She said, “No. Why would there be something wrong with me today?” I just said, “Oh no. I just felt like saying that I am asking everyone how they are today.” She just nodded and I walked away. Ok good thing that was over. Now I don’t have to worry about that. Oh yay that makes me so much happier, but now I have to figure out how to destroy this book.
The first thing I did when I got home was I went straight to my journal as usual. I looked at it. The first thing I need to do is make it so no one would want it. So I grabbed it and ripped of the cover. Then I had to find a place to hide it, so I walked up to the hills behind my house and buried it. I buried it so deep hoping that no one would ever find it. At least I hope or who knows what could happen to the world.
